IVR, or Interactive Voice Response, is basically a computer-generated voice responding to a call. This can either record your voice on a voice recorder or record it into speech recognition software. Some IVR systems even let you select several backgrounds for your automated answering so you can customize your IVR to specifically cater to the needs of your customer service team.
